Interior Modifications
I'm not one who likes appearances to be stock. I'm normally not a big fan of red when it comes to cars but I decided to make my interior Black with some red accents. I originally wanted it to match the interior Turquoise light color but did not want to get all these different spray colors for small things. What do you guys think?
Looks great, and I especially like the red stripe for center door panel bands. Black (or grey) interiors are perfect for a touch of red, livens up the entire space.
What paint did you use, and what prep did you do before painting? Thinking about doing something similar to mine, but not sure if I'll paint or try vinyl tape....

It's nice to hear you like it! I went with the brand Krylon and used the spray meant for plastic bonding. I probably should have sanded down the original plastic and I'm sure alot of people out there would say yes to sanding but I didnt because I owned an 01' Ranger and sanded down the radio bezel...When I sprayed it silver you could see all the sanded scratches. Maybe I used to strong of a grit. I did 4 coats and I would recommend getting a clearcoat finish to prevent scrapes, scratches etc. My legs do not reach the door accents but if your legs do your going to need that extra protection.
Thank you very much and it makes me feel good to hear you like it. I agree with you on that. I went with Krylon and the spray meant for bonding to plastic. I read that the steering wheel bezels were tough to get off and you have to deactivate the steering wheel airbag so I'm staying away from those!
