Power for accessories. The fuse location I used.
When I installed my new stereo I tapped into the sunroof fuse as my car has no sunroof and they did not remove it from the fuse panels like spares and empties which have no connectors or wires.
You could have used any of the unused fuses in the BCM, they are all on the RAP relay.
That is if you mean the switched power to the radio. The constant for memory needs to come from somewhere else.

Yep constant power comes from the origional stereo harness, and for the switched I tapped into the sunroof fuse as it had no other use(no sunroof).
Also attached the amplifier "power on wire" there as well to turn on the amplifier that runs the speakers in the back.(if you dont you probably won't get sound)

All of the unused fuse locations on the BCM are supposed to be switched through the RetainedAccessoryPower relay. After the key is removed they stay powered until the driver door is opened then closed., like the windows and s-roof.
I find it hard to believe that the window and s-roof fuses in your car were powered at all times, that would be very odd.
