I'm running the steering wheel from a Pontiac G6, works great but the buttons light up red.

 

Thanks for the tip - they have a bunch of G6 steering wheels available on eBay for cheap - around $75 shipped. I think I can deal with the red buttons but can't those be swapped out? Do you have a pic of how it looks lit up?

Hasn’t gotten back yet. I know he’s probably busy. I keep reaching for steering wheel controls like I do in my other cars and nothings there, lol.

I can say the actual buttons should work from other cars, but the trim piece that the buttons fit in most likely won't. My 06 had the buttons but they were the flush ones. I wanted the newer ones that are raised up, so i grabbed some from a malibu. The buttons worked (after re-wiring the connector) but the trim pieces did not. I do now have green lights everywhere, but orange-ish steering wheel buttons.
