I saw a sig where someone had replaced the steering wheel with a different one, and now I cant find the poster to ask. Is there a mod out there to change the steering wheel to a smaller one? I dont want to loose the CControl. '06 HHR LS no radio buttons on the wheel, just CC.

 

Best Bet is to Check Ebay for an "SS Cobalt Steering Wheel" ! It will have the Radio Controls, Leather Wrapped and be Smaller in Diameter !

Swapped steering wheels too....Picked up a very cool Black Leather Cobalt wheel with Audio Controls off Ebay- its plug and play!

 

Is the airbag "PnP" also? Is it not in the SWheel?

I switched mine on my 06 lt w/o radio controls to a leather cobalt w/ controls and its a little smaller and works great, just used air bag from original, very easy. There is good info on here about doing this, somewhere..

 

Airbag comes right out.....theres a link around here somewhere...then install the Cobalt wheel, and all the connectors just plug right in...didnt do anything to get the radio controls to work, other than plugging in the connector that was already there!
