Wheelskin going on

PFYC hooked it up! Ordered some stuff, and got a shipped order the same day!

first to come in/go on was a wheelskin.

If ordering one of these, be sure to get the size marked C. Pretty cool product, adds about 1/8-3/16" girth to the steering wheel, but conforms pretty nicely. If you can tie your shoes you can put this on, although I recommend a thimble, and some sort of hand-wrap(not a glove) when lacing the cat-gut. The job takes about 30 minutes, if you haven't been using velcro shoes for your entire life, and brought back some fond memories of oiling and tieing off a new baseball glove. The leather is supper supple, and comes in a huge variety. It needs a little thread turning on the right side, but overall a pretty good fit.

I have a CF kit install next week, hope it looks good together.

I have installed a few of these over the years. Take your time and it all works well. I use a band-aid on my little finger where I pull against to tighten the cord. Otherwise it gives me a blister. They will usually ship you another cord free if you want to do a baseball stitch (which looks more like the stock stitch on the leather wheels). I haven't tried their driving gloves, but it's the same leather so they should be amazing.

A wheelskin has been on my 06 LS from the get go. Still looks and feels great. I have gray cloth so I have the two tone light gray and dark gray it is a real good match with dash.

So far I'm digging it! The stiched seams where it changes color, are at the perfect grabbing spot for turns. gives a little nubby lip.
