I was on NYC the past week. What a mess made by Irene interrupting all the massive transportation and my sunday flight cancelled... however, I am ok and in my home at Mexico

We we're told we were right in the path, getting a direct hit. I'm 8 miles from the ocean shore, and 1/4 mile from the bay shore here in NJ. Our devastation?



We shall rebuild.......or at least set the chair back up

I hear ya, we have peeps up in Pa also...
Now that's a generator !!! What I had would only power up the fridge/deep freeze & some fans.


edit: I have always felt homes that are in flood prone areas with basements, should have Sump Pumps that kick on automatically..
