I think that we should have the next east coast g2g at Centralia PA. For those of you that don't know what that city is i would recommend looking it up.

Just set a date, I'd be in. Seems like a cool place with the history and erieness. I'm less than 2 hours away. A good movie was based off the town.

 

I guess no one actually looked up the city, just google it. The city has been on fire for decades and it doesn't look like its going to go out any time soon

 

we'd have the city to ourselfs ,might be tough getting a hotelroom..lol..I wouldnt even want to drive thru there,nevermind anybody living there

 

a few people do live there, but most of it is owned by the state

 

I looked it up and I'm psyched. I might go whether this g2g happens or not. This mine fire has been burning since 1962 and with the amount of coal thats in the ground, it can burn for 250 years. 10 people live in the town, their zip code is 00000 (the town was erased by the government) and there is no fast food, resteraunts, municapalaties or stores just cemataries and burnt houses.You Tube has a couple amateur videos of the town and I liked the movie Silent Hill. I vote we have the g2g there, if not, I'm going regardless.

 

maybe at the g2g we can try and decide if we wanna have a g2g there. And i'm with you on visiting with or without a g2g
