Carlisle

I can speak from lots of experience with the Carlisle "All GM Nationals". I have shown my '67 Camaro there numerous times and just attended for fun, even more.
They do a great job!
There are already many groups attending. Impala guys, etc. Camaro Nationals, all other GM models welcome.
Hell, you can even register to show your HHR, if you please to.
Food on site, lots of events, car washing area, swap meet, things for kids and wives to do, Many motels in the area ( I have stayed at quite a few), I can't think of a better place to do it.

We should book a motel NOW for the show and let's see if they have a room for a 50s dance.

What say you?

OH YES....we should also let everyone know about this event. Since it is so large folks from other areas may want to come. So we may not want to limit it to the Northeast. Just a thought.

I love my HHR!

ok guys,

Here's a list of info on the show...please read over this...especially the club information...because this needs to be followed by everyone who registers for the show in the group... (we will need to discuss this further in regards to a name for this group)...

I've sent an email to the show coordinator & the car club relations liason in hopes that they can assist us along the proper paths...maybe even join this discussion to answer questions further...so here goes...

the Carlisle Events website: http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/index.asp

the GM Natinoals page: http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/events/gm-nationals/

the club info: http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/eve...brelations.asp

http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/pdf/Club_Brochure.pdf

Registration info:
http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/pdf...tration_GM.pdf

http://store.carlisleevents.com/merc...gory_Code=CAN4

here's a sampling of the hotel info (Carlisle's sponsored version)...this is just a "high end" sampling of along the Magic Mile...there are a ton of others...
http://www.carlisleevents.com/ce/vis...odging.asp...]

I hope this helps all of you out...

Steve

I was hoping there would be another G2G.

Unfortunately, this one might have to count me out this year due to a date conflict. We may possibly be going to Europe on the last day of the Carlisle show, and if that's the chosen time to do a G2G that would count us out. (Doing it the same weekend as last year would as well because I'm walking at my college commencement May 16th.)

Dave - I've been out of the loop for a while, but let me know when any WNYHHR stuff comes up via my e-mail. I'd love to jump in and I have a bit more time now (in the middle of a job shift).

Saw you all mentioned Rehobeth in your suggestions, ocean city maryland would be a better place than Rehobeth and not that much more of a drive. More for the family and they also hold different weeks for cars such as; import week, muscle week, vw week, and my favorite vette week.
