Just got back from Letchworth about half-hour ago. What a beautiful day!!! It actually hit 80 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. I love that park.

They were having a huge craft show (not my style but very nice). I have never seen anything like it. There must have been 5,000 people in Letchworth, bumper to bumper traffic the length of the gorge. If you went during the week, there might be 100 people total.

The leaves are at peak. Am sure you guys can't move your cruise up, but next week should be fabulous as well. After that - clunk (that's the leaves hitting the ground).

Had dinner at Glen Iris Inn. Expensive, but really good. They do reimburse you for the entrance fee if you eat there, so that saves $6.

Saw three HHRs in Letchworth. Also saw my first SS on the road couple of days ago.

 

Only slightly less busy that EVL on that weekend. Took my HHR-SS to EVL on Sat. and blasted down back country roads to avoid the 4 mile back-up on the 219. Got 24mpg average but don't really care. When you wind up the Turbo, all thoughts of MPG goes out the tail pipe in pure excitement.
