I like the Quaker Steak & Lube idea. It's a bit farther for our friends from Rochester and points to the southeast, but it's easily accessible from the NYS Thruway. They open at 11AM, so if that's the spot chosen my suggestion would be to arrive around 10AM so as to secure parking spots together for some viewing and gabbing time before heading inside for chow.
