After Clay Bar/ Mini Photoshoot

Ok, so I spent the past two days cleaning up the HHR. I did in the following order:

Wash and dry
Clay bar
Wash and dry
Polish
Wax

And BOY are my arms sore today!!! But it was well worth it! I didn't expect much difference since it's only been a year since I last clayed it, but boy does it really shine now!!!

And then it was so nice out today, I decided I'd take a few pictures after class around Flint of my shiny clean car!!!!

20-30 years ago you could have been at this very same intersection, and you wouldn't even be able to fathom that someday it would look like this. This is the site of the former Buick City plant, where they used to make all of the old Buicks. The plant closed in 1999, and was demolished in 2001.

Now I don't recommend doing this, but it does look kind of cool! I wasn't going fast though, just used a slow shutter speed...

HHR looks great! Looks like you have a nice big garage to work in too, which always helps. Insulated garage doors FTW

Yes, I am so glad my dad built that! I wouldn't be able to do half the stuff I can if it wasn't for that nice heated garage!

Very nice. I'm hoping to get some time in the next few days to clay bar mine. I'm tired of having a yellowish-green HHR

No thank you!!!! One is enough! I don't even bother with my other cars.... The paint is too old on the Lumina, and the truck is going to get repainted in a year or so.... I'm glad I don't have to do them all!
