I didnt take any pics of my SS before I sprayed off yesterday, but mine was so filthy it looked BROWN instead of Silverstone Metallic, lol. I had all the gunk from driving it home from Mi tuesday, and then up to Howell and back on weds, and then to Toledo and back yesterday. I was almost embarrassed because of how filthy it was.

Took a cell phone pic of Jason's (saxrocks2009), Dustin's (djr1973), and my dirty HHR SSs today when we all met up:

That is one of the reasons I went with silver. Living in Michigan sucks if you drive your HHR everday. I couldn't even imagine having a black, red, or white one. Even after the few days of snow we have had this year, I hate driving the SS. I can not keep it clean for more than a couple hours for the life of me. Only way it stays clean, free of salt and slush, is to not drive it. Next year, I WILL be buying a winter car and store the SS away from all the snow and salt. I have been looking at older HHR's but they are still a little high for me. Hopefully, next summer I can find some decent 06-07's LS for around 5-6 k. Another reason I went with silver is they didn't offer the aqua blue metallic for 2010. I only know of one silver SS in my area and its a 2008. Its also got less miles on it than I have on mine. All the ones that I see are victory red or black. So, it is nice to have something a little different around me. Too bad they didn't offer Synergy Green as an option. I would have been first in line for that. I washed the SS on Friday before work and I'll snap some pictures tomorrow afternoon to show what it looks like now.

Sax, it's kinda ironic that the detailing guy would have a post in the Dirty HHR thread :) I have a friend that is a mechanic and none of his cars run worth a crap...same kinda thing? hahaha Like the new SS btw.
