I just watched superbad last night and saw it in there. My wife and I got all excited. I forgot it was already mentioned here. Doesn't it seem like they are using these cars for alot of close calls in movies? Well the twoi Ive seen anyway, I wonder if its because the safety ratings are so good?

 

Peel your eyes quickly and you can spot a DBM HHR nearly getting hit by Adam Sandler's stolen Bentley at the beginning of "The Longest Yard." Just noticed that when the movie was on TBS the other night ... not as bad as some folks were saying, especially if you're a wrestling fan like me and my wife (two retired wrestlers and two current ones in the movie: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg, Kevin Nash and The Great Khali).

 

There was a silver HHR in Transformers, right after the camera pans above the bridge that Optimus Prime is hiding under, it is going to the right of the screen. It goes by quickly though and you can only see the back of it.

Okay I saw another one last night. In the extras from the movie Oceans 13 (blue ray, I'm not sure the DVD extras are the same but someone can check) there is a lil documentary type video about the "rise to new heights" in Vegas and at about 22mins into it there is an silver HHR in one of the pics during the video. Could this belong to one of our Vegas members, there is no plate on the front and it is only a front view. It may be the photographers car because it is sort of stopped in the middle of the road.

HHRs are on page 221 of 365.

Transformers 2 is about to start filming here in Philly and I have heard that a new autobot is an HHR. I will find out more soon.

 

nice find on the website. I also found my 1965 cadillac in a bunch of films.

I wanna see the HHR transformer, and they better make it an Autobot so it can be in part 3 also and part 4 5 6 etc.

 

saw one in a state farm commercial rear ending another car (not a pt)
