Last mods till she gets outta the bodyshop

Well, after talking to a fellow HHr owner and friend for years from another car forum, i decided to colormatch my taillights, marker lights and add headlight eyebrowls.

here is the finished product.

this will be the last of the mods and pics till the car gets out of the bodyshop.
after that it will be HIDs, OEM fogs and a sliding ragtop.

oh, went to the Columbus International Autoshow and got a pic of my daughter in a new HHr SS.

Nice, I like that look. Can you post a picture while stepping on brakes? Would like to see how the taillights look lit up!

ill tell you now, the lights are very dim in direct sunlight.
sitting in my well lit garage they lit up nicely.

i had to plug my 3rd eye back in just to make sure no one hit me.

it doesn't completely block the light.
the vinyal is thin and since its a lighter color, the light still comes thru but not as bright.

To each his own I guess, but it doesn't do it for me. It looks like the car was re-painted and they were lazy with the masking.
And I don't like sounding like yo mama either but I bet some cop asks you to take them off your brake lights.
