Anyone have better pictures of flat VS gloss paint on the muffler. Went to the store to get some bbq paint for it tonight, and i couldn't really decide. They had rustolium in the gloss (6.20 or so for a can) and krylon in the flat (4.25 or so for a can).

Don't really know which way to go, so I was looking for more convincing photos either way. Over T-day since i already put the sway bar on, i'll be able to jack it up at my parents, mask it off, and spray it down.

thanks for the photos guys. i'm still torn between the flat and the glossy from half panel, i can't see it too good in his photos.

I'll think it over over the weekend.

did you guys remove the muffler before prepping and painting it or simply mask it off and paint while it was still attached? if so, how do you remove the muffler safely?

You don't need to remove the muffler..

Grab a qt of BBQ black & brush paint every part of it that can be seen.. Or mask & rattle-can spray it in place..
