slits would be hot too. THe white HHR with the wooden bed (some car show car) had slits for lights in the rear. Some horizontal slits in those head lights would be better than solid IMO, 3 of em on each about 1/4" thick...

There are no holes in this vinyl. It is solid all the way and also has a metallic finish to match the paint. The color name was Charcoal Marble. But the vinyl has no marble finish to it at all.

If the light output is diminished at all like Snoopy said it is VERY VERY minute!

I think I have a line as to who and what this stuff actually is. It is a vinyl used for signage. It is designed to let the light shine through. Although the auto industry isn't it's intended purpose, Jason is actually using it the way it was intended to be used.

Maybe somebody in the biz who understands the details better than I can request samples and see if this is the stuff.

(I wonder if this site is ready to take all the hits that it's going to get this week! )........

see through vinly

jx3 - those are 2-ply engraving signage colors for interior or exterior signs, not vinyl

it was a good try though jx3... that is the name of the color they gave me but not sure of the company...

The vinyl is signage vinyl too. Not perforated window film.
