New lens experiment

Despite all the bad reviews and nay-saying, I went and bought myself one of those 500mm-f/6.8 mirror lenses. Just messing around I took this shot.
Not as bad as I thought it would be. Really tricky to focus as the depth of field is about six inches at 200 yards.

The white balance looks off, is that because of the lens?

Post processing made the color shift a bit. Those are my evil eyes. They're paint.
