Hey All, just keep in mind that I'm using the 70" pipes where all of the others are using the 60" pipes. So you might study the pictures and see which ones tickle your fancy. I think Mike can get either lengh you want, -Dan

I'll be getting the 70 inchers. I like them they fill up the bottom of the car. Looking good Dan.

Just a note on the 70-inchers. While they do "fill" the bottom of the car, they also block the jack pads, so if you get a flat you will not be able to use your stock scissor jack out on the road. At home I use a floor jack - but not everyone carrys one in their HHR. With 70-inch Lakes, it would be very difficult to find a jack point...

The 60-inch Lakes leave plenty of room to get your jack in both the front and rear jack pointd on the HHR. Just thought I should put that out there for those considering the longer pipes.

As Dan said, we can get 70" Lake Pipes (in all 3 styles), for anyone who wants them.

Yes it is she not much into mods. She really dis-likes the SoCal window banners. She does like the flames I have too.

Thanks Mike.
I don't have my spare tire or jack.
You can get the normal slant tip in 70" right.
If not the 60" will do.
Hope my new muffler will fit in the middle of the car with not to much problem.

Mike, I can agree with you on most things but your statement above is completely false. As you can see I've taken a couple pictures of my HHR with the 70" lake pipes up on the factory scissors jack with enough clearance to do a tire change. On the front the scissors jack frame will contact the lake pipe before contacting the jack pad, but the contact is so minor that it doesn't interfere with it's ability to jack up the car. Once the jack contacts the jack pad it lifts the pipe off of the jack due to the desigh of the scissors, then it is only contacting the jack pad. On the rear it doesn't contact the pipes at all.

Front jacked up:

Rear Jacked up:

BTW: This post is in no way meant to be a gotcha, I told you so, or a slam dunk against Mike in any way. As most of you that read my posts know, I don't play that game and only post if I think it may be helpful to others. I also do my research before posting anything (it's a guy thing...I hate to be wrong...LOL). As most of you know, I think Mike is one of the biggest contributors to this forum and you can take most of what he say's to the bank, but like everyone else he isn't perfect either. His statement just got me to thinking....Hmmmm, what to do if I have a flat? So I went out to see if my jack would work, not to prove Mike wrong, just for my own piece of mind. -Dan

I stand corrected Dan.

From looking at mine up close and personal, it didn't look possible.

Thanks for your insight and ability to show it works!
