I'm guessing you had the bags set at ride height when you did this? What was the difference between the ride height you're using compared to the ride height with the Gold-Lines (I thought the settings you are using had it sitting just a bit higher than it did with the Gold-Lines, though not much)? Would the height difference, as minimal as it may be, make much of a difference in getting the scissor jack in place?

Maybe everyone that goes with the 70" pipes should just order the airbag kit from Mike, too! That would alleviate worries of potentially scraping the pipes, and make it easy to get the scissor jack in place.

Man, I totally agree! In fact, I'm going to put a recommendation on the Lake Pipes product page about it!

I think he should just add it in to the 70" side pipe package at no extra charge. What do ya think Mike. PLEASE!!!

Well I did have the HHR set at ride height when I did the test jacking. The rear is just about the same height as it was with the Goldlines, the front is 1/2" higher. I have it set here to keep it a bit more level. If the front were down another 1/2" it wouldn't make a diff, at least not enough to prevent jacking up the car (trucklet).

Now with that all said, for those of you who does go with the bag kit. If I were to raise the HHR all the way up, using the scissors jack would be even easier.

But I have to agree with you, I think buying lake pipes should be a perfectly good excuse to toss in a bag kit too.

So, if anyone want's to ask someone else about the bag kit installation you can just ask the person who started this thread. He's my son Billy, he was my right hand man for the installation.

SindyDix started the thread, I just asked the question (and suggested buying the airbag kit).
