that is refered to as a "DONK" ..... dont ask me !!


but it is actually a very expensive mod done to late 70, 80's full size cars, there was actually a whole section of SEMA dedicated to the DONK and all the options etc etc

Sort of reminds me of a 1985 Olds I saw a few years back. Mounted it on an "unknown" 4X4 chassis. Certainly looked different.

 

So what would this be called?

That's a Grand Prix, '79 - '85. Used to have 79 GP.

 

I would call that "Too Tall"..........at least for me. I'd get a nosebleed sitting that high up!

 

Actually, It's called a Box.

There's actually a magazine called Donk, Box, & Bubble. It only covers big Chevies, From the Early seventies(donks), Up to the last Caprice(bubbles).

We saw both of these HHR's in the same parking lot. Of course we left this info card on them both!
