Well I know technically the month ended on on the 10th, but I added these yesterday...
(I bought them on the 10th...so actually they should count)

...decided something just didn't look right, so I removed the roof racks and I have to say, 100 times better!

So here's the list of mods and total money spent after one month of ownership...

Badge Removal - FREE!
Third Brakelight Mod - $7 for bowtie overlay
Cobalt SS Rear Springs - $125 parts and labor
Tint - $100
Paint for bowties and markers - $25
LED tails - $250
Stubby Antenna - $12
T-Handle for rear wiper removal - $38
Wheels - $670 (I sold my stock wheels for $300, so out of pocket was only $370)

Total - $1227...out of pocket...$927
Luckily I also sold my xbox 360 and games for another $300 plus about $300 worth of collextibles otherwise most of this wouldn't have happened. An understanding wife is also a plus!

Hey chef, what did you end up doing about the potential leaking issue with your top rails? Thinking about removing mine also.

Well I havent yet...lol. I picked up some body plugs from autozone but they are too big so I have to find something a little smaller. Im planning to silicone the crap out of it and insert the body plug. It should work...I hope.

I haven't had any problems with any leaks...been off about 2 months now. We've had a decent amount of rain over the past few months and I wash my wagon 1-2 times a week. I think it should hold up.

With the heat forecast for "Hotlanta" the next few days, you're biggest worry is having your HHR melt chef, you're "lucky" its only supposed to be 102° there tomorrow....we're supposed to hit 106°....yay.
