Thanks! You have projects worth investing money into, don't worry, and amazingly I do like some of the tail offerings for this thing, the main LED ones do look rather nice. Maybe if I have some fun money to spend.

Between modding the HHR though, and my handguns I'm kept busy myself.

Niiiiice my man!

Matt & Ryan revised my intake (nice gain!) using their Cobalt upgraded LNF tube!
Now...I bet you know my next question...

How did they "revise" the intake?? I HAVE to do that....the way the Dejon SRI is set up....the air is just waaaay to hott. Have you seen the difference in air intake temps?

With my stock intake setup....my incoming air temp is around 60* or so. When I run the Dejon SRI....it almost doubles that.....about 105*.....which can't be good.

Is this the upgraded tube they installed? http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/...take-Tube.aspx

Thanks!

Mustang dyno.

As for the intake tube, basically cut it in the middle, added a couple inches of intake tube/2 clamps in the middle allowing it to rotate. Didn't do it for the temps so much, more so the replace the restrictive plastic piece directly off the turbo. I'm sure temps are slightly cooler, but wouldn't imagine it being drastic. Yes that is the one in the link.

We didn't have much R&D time, sure they could come up with an actual product with time.

So....we cant just buy the ZZP LNF upgraded intake tube and install it to the SRI? The stock intake tube has to be cut...and spliced with the ZZP LNF upgraded intake tube?

Just making sure before I order

Also....what kind of gains did you get out of the modified intake tube?

Wasn't stock tube, sure it was some right size diameter aluminum they had just to join the pieces again....and the fitting on it was made in 90' for this application too. Though I see no reason why such line is so special (check valve it appears?).
