09 leak on drive side floor

2009 hhr. New to me.

serious leak on driver side, pax side is dry. Seems like it’s coming from the center but not sure.

no sunroof, 2009 LT.

Did a water hose check and door seals and window seals are fine.

Remove the piece under the wipers, seems like that was changed in 09, cleaned it out. Couldn’t find any hole going into the firewall.

Seems like this was a issue for a while and there is some rust.

Does it have a sunroof, and leaks when it rains? If not, it could be the heater core, better check the coolant level.

Okay, no sunroof.

No sunroof. Will check heater core. Haven’t paid attention if it happens only when it rains. I only checked it when it did rain. Will check level and post

Ran a hose on it for 10-15 mins. Didn’t notice any water coming in. Does the 09 also have a gasket under the wiper plastic cover?

If you're referring to the butyl patch above the glove box, no.

Ok. Cause my doesn’t have it.

couple thing to not. Water is only located on driver side, also looks like it made it behind the driver. It doesn’t smell like coolant. I have only drove the car a couple times but haven’t notice it overheating.

I ran a water hose over the windshield and windows, no leak.

I will check the coolant levels and report back.

Is there water on the passenger side or not?
If it is driver side only and only in rain the rubber wire conduit on the door may me unseated.

The engine wouldn't have made it through a Philadelphia winter without coolant... But there is a chance that there's only water in the cooling system.

But donbrew probably is right.
