1 speed fan

Just took my car to the dealership yesterday for a fan that only works on the high speed setting. The dealership ordered a new restsistor for the HVAC blower motor. I will get in put in next week.

That's good (and bad) to know.

That was a common problem on the previous generation Malibu.

Not an uncommon problem.......... My last car was a Chrysler Concorde LXi, I along with a few friends that had the same car had resistor problems. Usually it happened after a couple of years though..........

I wonder if.....

My HHR is having the same problem, have an appointment for Mon the 27th hope I don't freeze till then.
Going to have them check the "roar" of the compressor again, last time they told me it was normal for the compressor to make that much noise----but I printed out the TSB this time.
