i had a blown head gasket but run great...bought a 2008 g6 engine with low miles..installed and now it floods and bogs down...put all the sensors off the old engine and intake still the same thing....guy told me i have to get ecm re flashed...i dont know...ive built hundreds of cars...ready to pull the engine and trans and put a v-8 in it

If you would tell us which engines were involved, we may be able to make some suggestions for what to look at.

the junkyard said it was a 2008...is there a way i can tell ?...some numbers on the block ?

 

everything i read says 2006 - 2008 are the same

 

There should be #'s in front of the oil filter housing, can you post those ?
