2007 Chevy HHR LS Engine Oil Switch Leak, Dirty Air Filters, Left Rear Tail Light Out
Hi, I just recently got my HHR LS, and found out it needed some minor repairs.
Said repairs being:
-How do I replace the engine oil switch? I would appreciate a diagram as it is leaking oil
-How do you replace the engine air filter and cabin air filter? Same as above, a picture is appreciated/step-by-step procedure
-Where can I open up the left rear tail light to replace all the bulbs? This one should be easy, but again, directions would be nice
Thank you.

Here is where you can down load an owners manual.
https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gene...s-manual-3074/
The search box at the top of the page can help you find all kinds of good info on here.
Here is a diagram of the oil psi switch location. It's number 700 on the diagram.
There is a special socket which makes it a lot easer to replace the switch. You could probably be able to rent one from you local part store.

I had a whole list of repairs suggested by my local GM dealer after taking it there for the first time to have the ignition recall repairs done to my HHR. Usual suggestions of alignment and balancing (which it looks like it needs to be done), brake wear, tire wear, transmission service, coolant service, engine oil switch leak, both air filters dirty, and something critical - serpentine cracked. Looked more like wear to me when I checked it, but hey, still going to have to be replaced, right?
@Lucky: you wouldn't perhaps know which direction that engine diagram is? All I need to know is which side is the front, and I can handle the rest.
