Question 2008 Chevy HHR engine rev problem!!!

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and I have a question or 2. I have a 2008 Chevy HHR that when I am driving and barely put my foot on the gas, it starts rev bouncing about 500 rpms. It currently is throwing the p0010 code and I have replaced the part once with GM part. Any suggestions?

What "the part" valve or sensor?
Also follow the relevant link in my sig.

I have replaced the camshaft position actuator listed the link with genuine GM part.

When did you last replace it?

Other causes of the P0010 can be dirty oil (contaminating the solenoid), low oil level, or damaged wiring at the solenoid itself.

When was the last oil change, and have you checked the oil level to ensure it meets specs?

Possible it could be the sensor.

In case you missed it; this is the link I meant. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...e-light-52828/
