2008 Chevy HHR 2.2L LS 4 Door Engine Fuse Box Removal

Hi I am having issues with removing the wire harness that is connected to the fuse box in the engine compartment. I removed all the bolts and clips to make it lift up but from there the harness seems to be hard to remove. I pushed the sides and it still wont remove. Any ideas or tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I was able to pry it out by pushing the tab and using a flat head. I was taking precautions before manhandling it. I know have fixed my brake light issue. I swapped it out with a part from another HHR.

2008 Chevy HHR Tail lights & Side Yellow lights are staying on

Hello, Guys, I need some advice/help. I have a 2008 Chevy HHR 4 Door LS that has an issue. The taillights are staying on and the yellow side markers that are in the headlights not the bumper. I swapped out the fuse box in the engine compartment and it's still doing it. I read somewhere online that changing the fuse box in the engine compartment is one of the fixes. I just ordered the brake light switch and that is my next move to see if that will solve the issue. At the moment I am pulling the relay out to make sure this issue does not drain the battery. Any advice or help will be appreciated.

The brake light switch(on the brake pedal) has nothing to do with the tail lights or side markers.

I changed the light switch that says auto and has the signals too and the issue is still here. Then I don't know what's next that's why I was trying the brake switch its 5.00 on Amazon so I ordered it.

Throw your money at me, that would help just as much.

If those lights only are on and nobody has fiddled with wires the only place power can come from is the relay.
So:
Have you tested the parking light relay to make sure it is not stuck on? Check continuity between post 30 & 87 on the relay (marked on the bottom) if it is in your hand NO continuity is good.
Are there any LEDs involved?
Any modifications done before this behavior?
Have you checked the 4 way flash (Hazard) switch for shorting?
