The easy repair was swapping out the rear beam.
Doing that is easier than it looks.
Especially if you already have rear disc brakes.

 

You’re right a bent strut would show up on an alignment rack.
My last trip to a friend of mine’s shop for a four wheel alignment, resulted in him installing those camber bolts, it turned out it was the LCA’s rear bushings shot on the driver’s side( the left) have a look at that bushing, you’ll be surprised.
