2011 HHR Turns on Won't start...?!?!?!

We are new to the HHR World. I do not see an indicator the alternator is charging. No light, no gage??

Go to your local auto parts store and ask for a charging system check.

I do not know the age of the battery but it was an AC Delco and it did not look very old. Both end cells looked puffed out/swollen. That is usually a sign of problems inside the battery.

By "replaced the battery" do you mean you put the old one back in or you installed a new one?

Check the terminals for tightness. The factory ones are pempermental.
