AC compressor
First evacuate and recover the gas. then un bolt everything and install everything back, pull a vacuum refill with gas and oil.
Best to leave it to a pro the gas can be hazardous. If the compressor has malfunctioned you probably should in the least flush the system or replace the entire system.

As said the hands on part is not hard but unless you know what your doing with the Freon part leave it to a shop or possibly find someone certified with HVAC to take care of it. Do not vent the Freon out in to the air though.
