GM is in cahoots with the federal government in trying to control my life. If I want to breath Carbon Dioxide in the car I should be allowed to. Brain damage be darned!

And we exhale CO2, also deadly when inhaled, it takes up the space that Oxygen is supposed to use in your lungs.

When you have emphysema the CO2 pools in the bottom of the lungs and given the opportunity all of the space making it impossible to breath O. I know this as a fact of life.

CO poisoning works by blocking the oxygen in your blood from binding to the corpuscles. The blood can't tell the difference between the single O so it carries the useless CO around instead of delivering the O.

End of greatly simplified science lecture.
