My hhr has 69000 miles. I think I have a trany leak from transaxle seal or maybe pan. I wanted to add fluid is this fill cap? Its rubber and seems to have a small clamp on it. How to I get it off?

Trany fill cap?

The fill port, it just unscrews. It is plastic on the top of the trans driver side. I'm not sure on your pic that might be the extra outlet on the t-stat cover.
Check the level: warm, level, neutral/park,engine running. Remove level control bolt; tiny drip is full.


#10 on passenger side.

I think your right Don. It does look like a cap and clamp for coolant.
He should start to look closer to the drivers side for the cap.
