Again... Now a doubt about tranny mounts.

Probably some people have read some posts that I´ve made. This is the situation:

Rubbing noise every time that I turn to the right, If i´m going over 45 mph/72 kmh. Some times there´s a noticeable vibration, and others is slight. I´ve replaced/checked/fixed/made:

- Both hub bearings.
- Both CV Axles.
- Both brake rotors and pads.
- Both sway bar bushings.
- Both outer & Inners tie rods.
- Driver´s Lower control arm bushings.
- Front end Allignment.
- Wheels re-balanced.

...and the noise stills there!!!!! This is irritating and frustrating...

But... In the weekend I went at a local garage, to still looking for more stuff. They raised the car enough to see the bottom of the engine, the hhr was on P (is automatic, engine turned off), and I tried to turn the front wheels on both directions and I noticed that the engine rocks about 1" - 1 1/2", and the front transmission mount had a little amount of resistance, although the mount looks solid and w/o cracks... Then... Is common/Normal that engine rock movement? Should be totally solid (I mean, no rock movemnte) or not? I´ll appreciate any help.

They are rubber mounts so should move but not without some resistance....... I wouldn't think turning the wheels while the engine is in park and off should move the engine an inch or more. That sounds excessive, but I've never checked mine either......

BTW... there´s a shinny surface on the top of the air filter housing and the lower insulation of the hood. Being optimistic, I assume that is being made in due to the movement of the engine.
