Another Dealer Trip
Another Dealer Trip
So this morning I went to go to school, and when I started the car and hit the brakes, the Brake Fluid light came on. It did this to me last year, but didnt' have time to take it in before it warmed up outside. So, I rushed to the dealer in town, and told them my situation. I had about 20 minutes, could they look at it, verify it's doing it, then let me go. Sure thing. So they checked it over, said yeah it is doing that...then I left. Told me to bring it back when I have time and they can look more into it. I told him there is a TSB for it, and he asked what the number was, but I couldn't remember so I told him I'll bring it with me when I come back in.
I won't have time to take it in until like 2 weeks from now at least, and with the somewhat warming weather I doubt it will do it again, since it usually only happens when it's like under 15 degrees. I'm hoping that since they saw it once, they can fix it. I know it just needs a new reservoir for the fluid, so I hope they'll replace it.
Tell me though...am I being too nit-picky with things on my car? I've had 3 things fixed this week, and two more need to be done. Am I just TRYING to find things wrong or is this justifiable? I just want to get some of this taken care of before my warranty runs out the end of June....

I'm sure I posted this in a thread a few years back but I couldn't find it either. I reposted it here.

Eric, a competent shop should be looking their own bulletins up. Beware of these folks.
