Another weird one

Ok, I keep getting more and more weird issues. Just tonight, I went over some RR crossings that were a bit rougher than I expected, and it really was quite a bump. After going over the bump, the car died! The key had been jostled from run to the accessory position! I don't think any bump should do that, unless it's a bad enough one to kill a suspension or blow out a tire or something. What do you guys think? I figure since I have to go to the dealer again once they get my other parts in, I might as well mention it. It sure freaked me out when it happened.

Well, just went out to both our cars for a comparison. In my HHR, if you set the key to on and then pull straight down on the keychain, it will switch to either off or acc quite easily. Do the same in the Ford, and pull as hard as you want and it will not slip from on to off or accessory. Something isn't right, and based on the danger of it stalling again, it's going back whether all of the other parts the dealer is waiting on are in or not. This just gets more and more rediculous.

Hahaha, yeah I have a bad habit of air drumming and hitting my keys for cymbals. The first time it happened, (luckily I wasn't moving) it took awhile to figure out that I had actually knocked the keys back shutting off the car.
