auxillary plug

auxillary plug

blew fuse on auxillary plug at front of 2011 hhr (using a spotlight) . replaced fuse. worked briefly but blew again in few seconds with only cell phone plugged in. what now? neither fuse actually appears to be blown?

My guess. Overheated the outlet and fried it. (melted inside) Replace the outlet. They're not expensive.

Welcome to the site, yes, the power outlet needs to be replaced. The fuses too, would burn out with a short in the plug.
