B0090 rollover sensor
B0090 rollover sensor
Good day
I purchased two 2011 HHR's fro my boys with passenger fender and door damage and side roof airbag deployment. (no structural damage) I replaced all the visually damaged parts including the side airbags and seatbelts. I sent the airbag computer in for reset. One has no issues the other gives me a B0090 rollover sensor error code. I have been told if it has no impact damage it can be reset.
The problem is
1) I do not know what it looks like, and
2) I do not know where it is located to inspect it.
Does anyone have a picture of the rollover sensor and the location of it?

You were told wrong!
You do need a NEW roll over sensor, it is unclear if it needs to be mated to the BCM like the brain does. I'd try it to see what happens. Try online GM parts places for better prices, do not consider used!
It is the silver box mounted on the trans hump that is not the brain. IIRC in front of the shifter.

Found this link. Shows the rollover sensor (#3) to be right in front of the shifter.
