Backup Light Problem

I'm having a problem with my left backup light - it's not working. I just got done wiring a backup camera to the wires that provide the light with power. I didn't even splice the wires, I just peeled back some insulation and soldered the backup camera wires on. It is worth mentioning that the backup camera is still receiving proper voltages. Maybe I blew the bulb somehow?

that's the first guess
second would be you got some wires mixed up and it is shorted OR didn't wrap the solder joint
Third compromised the ground wire for the light

I did insulate it pretty well (definitely nothing is touching.) I guess I'll just try a new bulb soon.

Could explain what color wire from the car you soldered the camera wire to to get power ?

Well, both actually. I was assuming green was the hot and soldered the red wire to there, then black to black. I'm using a wireless transmitter for the camera.

It was the bulb. Filament is definitely blown, thanks for the help!

Light green is bat black is ground.

depending on where you grounded the camera, you might look to see you didn't lose the wire connected to ground under the lamp.
