Has anyone have their BCM quit operating normally. It seems some operates with a scanner but not traction control, keyless entry, and the such. If the BCM is bad that possible but a broken connection may be present. Any help out there. Thanks.

Hi, It seems that the BCM is not working. I had some engine issues but I cured them and this thing is nuts at 20lbs of boost. But everything that is not on the ECM isn't working. There's power at the BCM that I can tell. Everything that the BCM controls does not function. When hooked up to a scanner you can manually operate a couple of things. It also won't recognize the keyless entry. Any test I can do to verify whats going on. I have access to a Snapon scanner to use. I hope I gave enough information. Thanks.

 

Have you checked the BCM fuses on the underhood fuse box, #4, #6?

So, no auto headlights, dash lights, radio, power windows, stop lights power steering, interior lights, airbags, HVAC etc? If it will start then the PK3 is working.

What happened before the failure?

 

Just a thought, how is your battery condition, these trucklets hate a dying or dead battery!!
They don't cotton to loose or dirty ground connections either.
