Thank you for that info. I put my original bcm back into my car. The only issues I'm having are the lift gate not working and the auto start. As soon as I get off work I will be checking the items you have suggested

First I would like to thank you so much for all your help, to be honest I didn't think I would get any answers, other than take it to your local dealer. So thank you. Now for my HHR, I put incandescent bulds back in. Took apart my fuse panel to find three of the four plugs lose enough to be taken off by hand. So i fixed them.
Put original bcm back in, and charged the battery. So original problems fixed. I still to get bulb for third brake light. And after all of the previous work my lift gate wasnt working as I mentioned in my last post. But I went out to my car and tried it again, and it opened so I don't know what was wrong earlier. You had asked me if I could get into tpms, I don't know how or what that is. But yes my door locks do work. But not my remote start, but I have yet to get the tail light fixed 100%. Is the tpms were you reset your oil change indicator?. And again I am so thankful for all your help.

Ok , so you just need the replace the burnt bulb in the third brake light and that should resolve your remote start and cruise control issues. Those are a 921 bulb there are 4

 

Well car is just about fixed,I replaced the tail light bulb ,now all lights working properly. The only thing wrong now is my remote start. I double lock my doors push the remote start and hold. And all I hear is click click and nothing. Anybody experience this?

 

Look at page 2-9 in your Owner Manual for a list of things that will inhibit Remote Start.

Page 3-48 how to enable Remote Start.

 

Yes and double check your tail lights and third brake light.
Also check to ensure your good is closed, properly
If you have a CEL , then the remote start won't work!
If there is no CEL then try a battery lobotomy, disconnect the ground wire at the battery for 30 minutes to reset the computers.

 

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some assistance on fuxing my rmote start. So before anyone askes: yes all my lights work properly my hood doors and lift gate r shut. And it is tured on.. so i lock the doors twice hold the remot start button. I hear. The fule pump turn on and three cliks under the hood. But no starting. Anyone have a suggestion?

 

What has changed since it did work? Has it ever worked? Have you checked the hood ajar switch, it is part of the latch and a bit complicated electrically.

What year/model? Are you sure it is factory installed (AP3 on the glovebox sticker).
