Well the dealership is going to replace 3 out of the 4 rims. They said one rim has a rock chip on it and they are not going to replace that one.

They replaced one that was peeling on me too. But the thing I noticed is how much darker they are when you first get them compared to the ones already on your car. Let me know if you see the difference when you get them put on.

i had 3 go bad due to peeling issue...... dealer ordered 3, 2 came in bad, they were darker than my orginal ones. so they odered 3 more...... so they would match...... the replacements are darker........ but i like them alot better.

I would just have them powder coated black chrome. No fading, no peeling.

Got the same issue with mine on two rims. The 3rd is curb rashed and I'm sure GM will not cover that one. I also have an issue with rainbow looking discoloration on them from brake dust(??) that won't come clean. This is on all four wheels. I'm not sure if that will be covered. Anyone else have the discoloration????

you can noticed where it peeled and how shinny under the film is.

Take a look at my posts on this subject. Mine went bad couple of months ago. Your rims are plastic, not chrome. If under warranty, GM will replace.
