Or a Search here should bring up an old thread about it.

From the owners manual(minus pictures):

Manual Liftgate Release: To manually open the liftgate, do the following:
1. Remove the trim plug, located on the inside of the liftgate near the center.
2. Locate the release lever on the latch.
The lever is located about three inches(7.62 cm) behind the trim in the access hole.
3. Insert a tool into the access hole.
Push the release lever rearward.
4. The liftgate will unlatch when the lever is pushed rearward. Push the liftgate to open.

5. Reinstall the trim plug.

I'm in school right now I'm going to go home and attempt to get this figured out before work. I'll keep you guys uodated.
When I got home last night I went to look at what it was doing and the lights flicker with the remote unlock but no doors unlocked and nothing would turn on. No dash or done again. So I think you guys were right on the money with the battery and I just freaked out

Breathe it's normal for a battery to check out without warning.

So I jumped it and it started right up. Checked the voltage at battery and got 15+V so that kind of sums up my problem. Drove it to my local parts store and load tested batt and it's fine but alt goes in and out. Watched voltage on the way home and it went from 15 to 13 then 12.8 pretty much batt voltage. I got an alt to put in Friday.

Thanks guys for walking me through my meaningless freak out. I think it's just because it's new (to me) and don't want to feel like I got a lemon haha

A little confused.......

Did you get the 15V with the car running? That really gives no indication of the battery condition.

I also believe I read someplace that if a battery has a shorted cell it will draw extra voltage from the alternator in an attempt to charge the battery properly. You didn't say what the load test, if you had a real one, revealed.....just that it was ok.

Shorted cells are a problem that many times are hard to diagnose without a real load test. Just saying.......but it could be the alternator OR the battery.

Yes 15v with car running. Load test was done with car off and tested still good.

On the way home while monitoring voltage I saw anywhere from 11.8 to 14.9
