bumper clips/tabs repair?
Just wondering if anyone knows how or any tips on how to fix the clips/tabs on the front bumper. The ones that snap in either above the headlight or the columns around the grill etc. Got some that are broken and before i repaint it, was wondering if there is a good way of repairing them? or even if repaired will they just break again as soon as i put it back on>?

Reparing notches/holes on bumper covers
skyline,
First, you'll need a soldering gun with a homemade tip. The tip should be about the size of a nickel. Either braze, tig, or mig the two ends of the gun leads to the nickel size 'puck'.
Get you some stainless steel screen and cut a piece just the size of the broken/missing tab. You can scrounge (somewhere invisible) a small piece of 'repair material' off the edge of your existing bumper cover. Fit the piece you cut in place, and cut the ss screen to fit over each side of the repair, overlapping it a bit. Take the soldering tip you just made, and put it on the repair area. Turn on the gun and push down until it heats up and starts to melt the screen into the repair area. Continue holding pressure down, and start moving slowly laterly while heating the area until the screen disappears into the bumper cover. This a 'watch and feel' sort of thing, so proceed slowly and carefully. You can melt a bit more bumper cover scrap into the weld you just made, be careful not to get it too thick, though. Heat and smooth the entire area of your repair so that it doesn't have any high spots. The stainless screen should just barely be visible when you're done.
The repaired area will be stronger than original due to the stainless screen reinforcing. You can grind or Dremel the final result to match your original notches/holes.
Been there, done that...
