Buzzin sound from transsmion (new owner)

Buzzin sound from transsmion (new owner)

hi guys this is my first post. Well i bought my hhr 2.4 lt auto and took it to a family vacation to orlando and miami but i have several issuses i need some help on, First i noticed that there is a faint but noticable buzzing sound kind of what a powersterring pump sounds like when is low on oil comming from the driver side transmission case is this normal, also i seem to have the mysterious pass carpet leak it did rain non stop on our vacation the carpets wasnt soaking wet but damp thanks

try "passenger leak" in the search utility. as for the buzzing, add some power steering fluid to... nevermind.

I had a front wheel bearing go bad and it made the same kind of noise.

no problems running its just when the car is parked at idle that it seems to sound like a chain or pump is running in the tranny.
