Just to throw my 2 cents in, I have a question regarding the fresh/recirculate issue. Does anybody elses A/C come on when recirc is selected while the A/C light is off? I am pretty sure mine does that. If I have it on fresh air and A/C off, the air coming in will be outside temp, but if in recirc, with the A/C off, the air is cold and you can hear the compressor cycle and feel the drag on the engine. Just curious if this is the way it is suppose to be could that be why the default is fresh air?

For more details on how the recirculation works, you can read the following threads HERE and HERE. Lots of good info on these threads.

You could also take the wiper arm off the car and put it back on with it closer to the cowl. Shouldn't be hard to get it off. Just a clip holding it on as far as I know.

Has anyone found out how the wiper arm is attached. I briefly looked and didn't see any clip, but maybe I didn't look hard enough. My passenger wiper is also sitting high on the windshield.

My bad. It's held on with a nut.

You can just pull the plastic cover off by hand and undo the nut. Just be careful not to put the wiper to low as it will hit the A-piller and scratch your paint. Hope it hepls you.

No problem here Tony. I just like to try and make sure I can help out whenever possible. As I've said before, we all learn from one another.
