camshaft sensor

I replaced the camshaft sensor on my wifes 2009 Chevy cobalt about six weeks ago. Now the code indicates that it needs to be replaced again. Is anyone else having the same problem? I have checked all the connections and wires and everything looks ok. Thank you in advance for any help, Frank.

Googling the Pxxxx codes works nicely also.

I bet somebody meant to read "solenoid" instead of "sensor".

"Leaving out the code received and asking for advice, is like asking why the interior carpet is wet without mentioning that they just retrieved the car from the lake."

Hey Frank,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this with the Camshaft Sensor in your wife's Cobalt. I cannot guarantee anything, but I will be glad to look further into this concern for you. Please send us a private message referencing this thread if we can be of any extra assistance. Thank you.
