Hello. I have a 2012 Chevy HHR panel with the plastic storage insert instead of back seats. Curious if I would be able to remove the storage insert and install the backseats from another HHR parts car that I have, or does the panel version not accept back seats at all??

 

Several members have installed wagon rear seats into their panels, there are threads to see how to do it.
and btw the HHR ended production in May 2011. So, that must be a typo , the 2012 HHR didn’t exist

Very much been done. More parts, work, and hassle than you think. Even more to make it safe and convenient for your passengers to ride in a cave.

 

And, if you have safety inspection don't forget the seatbelts.
