can you change the 24 hour clock setting?

I just joined the forum a couple of days ago and really love it.My clock on my 2008 2lt displays in "military time". I cannot find anything in the manual to change it to a 12 hour reading. I feel like I am back in Fort Dix. LOL

There should be a button with a clock dial/face right below the FAV button to change how the time is displayed.

What did you do at Fort Dix? I processed out of there on my way to the desert in '04.

I must be the dumbest guy around. I tried everything and the clock still wants to go to 13 after 12. I tried the clock button and the menu button and no luck. The manual does not even mention it. 76 marine, I took basic training at Dix in the sixties when they had the old world war two barracks with the bunk beds.

That's where the PDF Owner's Manual comes in handy. (There is a link on this site to get yours.) A search for "24" gave me this from the 2008 version:

Note clock is a function of installed radio.

------------------------------------------------
Without Date Display AM/FM Base Radio
with a Single CD Player

To change the time default setting from 12 hour to
24 hour, press the H button and then the pushbutton
located under the forward arrow label. Once the
time 12H and 24H are displayed, press the pushbutton
located under the desired option to select the default.
Press the H button again to apply the selected default,
or let the screen time out.

-------------------------------------------------

Six-Disc CD (MP3) Player

To change the time default setting from 12 hour to
24 hour or to change the date default setting from
month/day/year to day/month/year, follow these
instructions:
1. Press the H button and then the pushbutton
located under the forward arrow label. Once
the time 12H and 24H, and the date MM/DD/YYYY
(month, day, and year) and DD/MM/YYYY (day,
month, and year) displays.
2. Press the pushbutton located under the desired
option.
3. Press the H or MENU button again to apply the
selected default, or let the screen time out.
