This problem started a couple of weeks ago. I tried disconnecting the battery for an hour-no good. Also please advise me on searching a topic on this web site.

I had this issue for quite a while. The radio face plate may have been loose. It seemed to have fixed itself. Prior to that I was pulling the fuse, and reinserting it at noon(or midnight).

The search function seems to work better if you change from "threads" to "Google search".
